Welcome to my new website! I am glad to finally have a way to be more connected with my family, friends, and fans while I’m on the road.
After a productive training camp in Chile, I have an entire month at home in Bellevue. I am using the time to secure a boot contract after my recent switch off Salomon, as well as a new eyewear sponsor. I am also considering either resigning with Xbox for my headgear sponsor this year, or possibly starting a new deal with Crystal Mountain, my home ski area. Even though I’ve been pretty consumed by all of the business stuff—in addition to my regular workout regimen—I’ve had a lot of fun catching up with my family, friends, and my new little puppy Shammy.
At the end of September I will stop in Buffalo, NY for a day of wind tunnel aerodynamics testing on my way over seas to Europe. My on-snow training camp in Switzerland and Austria will run for 3 ½ weeks, concluding with a World Cup Giant Slalom race in Solden, Austria. I have been really pleased with my new Fischer skis so far and I am already looking forward to a fun and successful ’04-’05 season!
